Hey guys, I’ve got some new pics in the gallery. (chupa-thingy, Alchemist, and Stone Golem). I figured I would let everyone see what I’ve been working on. I did the Stone Golem when we got iced in, nothing to do but draw and drink booze.
Ok guys. So as promised, I have uploaded some pics of the new comic I’m working on into the gallery section. I’m only on page four, but I figured I would throw them up so everyone could take a look at our progress. The scans are not very good, but you get the idea.
It always takes me a few pages to get into a comic that I’m working on. I think page four is definitely my favorite. I had to break the pages up because illustration board is too big for a scanner. I could have put them back together in photoshop, but I wanted to keep them at a higher resolution…whatever.
Anyway, the first story so far is being written by Dina. It’s called Pity Party. It’s based on some of her writings and dreams. As soon as I get done with page six, I will switch over to a chupacabra story written by Rene and his brother. I’m thinking about doing this book as a serial. You’ll see six pages of one story and then it moves to a different story. That way I can have about four stories going at the same time. It’s going to be interesting.
I’ll do my best to post scans of the pages as soon as I get done with them. Also, if anyone is interested, we are going to see “Mates of State” at Emo’s on Sunday. -Tony
